This driver is going to need some more lessons… if an instructor is willing to get into a car with her!

A 63-year old women in Argentina has found herself in hospital after she accelerated into a light pole during a driving test.

The test took place on a closed circuit which looks to be specifically designed for learner drivers.

In the beginning of the video the women is seen driving a Volkswagen Gol fairly poorly around the the circuit, running up kerbs, over accelerating and failing to brake around corners.

A mere 39 seconds into the video, the woman is seen hitting the accelerator and running head-on into a light post and flipping the vehicle on its side.

The footage shows the woman continuing to accelerate the vehicle, as the rear wheels spin and smoke billows out of the exhaust.

A bystander runs over to help a few seconds later.

According to overseas reports, both the driver and instructor were extracted by local firefighters and taken to hospital following the incident having sustained minor injuries.
